The film festival that is all about music and musicians.  Tilburg is a city of makers, filmmakers and musicians. On the weekend of September 6 to 8, 2024, the Music Film Festival will bring various artists to the city to make music and show their films to the audience. Tilburg surprises and challenges. Stimulates the imagination. Raw and contrary. This makes Tilburg a breeding ground for creative talent.

The Music Film Festival also proves this, in which the organizers and four cultural venues join forces for this top event: Poppodium 013, Filmhuis Cinecitta, Jazzclub Paradox and Pathé Tilburg Centrum cinema. Because the Music Film Festival is film and live music at the same time. In short, the entire city center of Tilburg is involved.

013 Poppodium

It is not without reason that Poppodium 013 is the largest music venue in the South of the Netherlands: here we can create a perfect combination of film screening and live music. Because what could be better than seeing a film of your music heroes and that same band on stage after the film? The Next Stage room is accessible for the disabled and wheelchairs. During the Music Film Festival, Next Stage is a combination of seating and standing with access for 700 visitors.

Filmtheater Cinecitta

Filmtheater Cinecitta is the well-known location for art house films, also during the Music Film Festival. The theatre and the restobar are both completely wheelchair friendly. In room 1 (160 visitors) and room 6 (40 visitors), the rooms used during the Music Film Festival, you can remain seated in your wheelchair. You can take a drink into the room as well as refreshments purchased at the bar.

Pathé Tilburg Centrum

Pathé Tilburg Centrum is a pleasant, intimate location of the cinema chain in the city center. Luxuriously furnished rooms with comfortable bucket seats, Dolby surround sound and top image quality. Drinks and snacks purchased at the counters in the hall can be taken into the hall. Room size at Pathé is 160 to 300 visitors.

Jazzclub Paradox Tilburg

Music venue Paradox opened its doors at its current location in 1985 and has since grown into the most important jazz venue in the South of the Netherlands, and is located directly opposite the Cinecitta film theatre. The combination of film and live music is therefor quickly made. Here you will find live music and workshops during the festival in addition to film. A nice wide stage of 10×4 meters, with an equally wide screen. Paradox can accommodate 175 people.
