For the first time in the three years of the Music Film Festival, a performance was completely sold out. The film ‘Playing The Changes’ about the American jazz pianist Darius Brubeck and the subsequent concert by The Darius Brubeck Quartet attracted so many visitors that Muziekpodium Paradox had to announce two days in advance that ticket sales had to be stopped.
Other performances were also well attended. Performances with more than 100 visitors were the film/concert combination by Maite Hontelé in Paradox, Het Zesde Metaal in Poppodium 013 and the film screening of Purple Rain (Prince) in Pathé.
