We Are Fugazi

Documentary on post-hardcore from Washington DC

Sun 21 September 2025 - 19:00 - Pop stage 013 - 96 min - 26,50 (film + concert)

It must have been october 1999 that Fugazi played in 013. The band no longer exists. But now there is this explosive documentary. Next: concert by Femme Fugazi

Twenty years after their final show, the spirit of Fugazi returns to Popstage 013 in Tilburg in a way no conventional documentary ever could. “We Are Fugazi from Washington, D.C.” is a raw, 96-minute explosion of energy, pieced together from fan-recorded live footage and rare archival material—curated by Joe Gross, Joseph Pattisall, and Jeff Krulik.

It’s a tribute to one of the most uncompromising live bands in music history. In other words: Finally, not a film in which experts tell how good a band is, but the fans themselves!
