In the horror comedy, the band members move into an abandoned villa in California to record their tenth music album. Once inside the house, frontman Dave Grohl encounters supernatural forces that threaten the lives of his bandmates. The Studio 666 story was written by Dave Grohl himself and filmed with their resident music video director BJ McDonnell.
