Can I submit my film to the festival?

Oh yes. From the Netherlands you can send us an email with a link to your film and information about the film. Send that email to info@musicfilm.nl

From outside the Netherlands we ask you to use Filmfreeway.com. See the link below on our homepage. There is a submission fee, which is used to pay for the judging and curating of these films. If your film is selected, we will ask you to send us a projection version of your film in order to screen it.

You may also submit a rough cut of your film, as long as the final version of the film is ready one month before the screening.

Is my film in safe hands when I submit?

Don’t worry. The Filmfreeway system ensures that we can see and assess your film; but we cannot download it or do any adjustments. The film therefore always remains in your possession and you retain your artistic ownership.

If your film is selected, we will ask you to send us a projection version of your film in order to screen it.

When will the line up of the festival be known?

The selection of films continues as long as possible to guarantee the best possible program. The program will therefore be announced a few weeks before the festival starts. When possible, we will announce selected titles earlier. We will do our best to announce film selections at the earliest possible time to allow attendees to purchase tickets on time.

Can I be a volunteer at the festival?

Yes you can! Send an email to info@musicfilm.nl and we will contact you as soon as possible.
