On Friday afternoon, September 6, the Music Film Festival is organizing a special event: the premiere of the electronic cinema concert Atmos/Spheres by Tilburg composer Dyane Donck. A film without images, so that the visitor can optimally enjoy the composition created on Dolby Atmos in pitch darkness. The largest hall of Pathé Stappegoor in Tilburg, room 4, is one of the few halls in the Netherlands with such an advanced audio system with 64 speakers, with which you can literally hear the sound all around you while watching a film. So far, Atmos has only been used to support images (the film), but what if you use this sound system specifically for music, as a pure listening experience? With that question in mind, music producer Dyane Donck Company has started the Atmos/Spheres project, with a completely new experience as a starting point.
